There are plenty of ways to hit the court in NBA 2K25 MyCAREER, but a returning favorite this year is streetball courts. There are three scattered around The City, and you'll increase your odds of success with each consecutive win. If you're not sure where to start or want a few ways to focus while grinding, we'll go through it all in this NBA 2K25 streetball guide.
NBA 2K25 Streetball Guide
The final goal of streetball is defeating all the bosses at each court, but to do that you'll want to first focus on knocking off opponents that will bolster your team. To some extent, that's going to depend on you and your build's strengths. If you're generally great at hitting three-pointers in NBA 2K25, you might want to get some good passers on your team to get the ball to you whenever you have an opening.
At the same time, you can also choose to start with opponents that will cover up your weaknesses. If you struggle on defense, get someone on your squad that can handle it for you. One important thing to remember is that while streetball bosses do become usable, they are specific to the court you defeated them on. That means you'll have to choose which two to focus on for each court, and then that squad can lead you to victory over all the court's other bosses.
The Dunes tend to be the easiest to find as they're at the far bottom-right corner of the map just past the Gatorade Training Facility where you'll do weekly workouts. The Temple and The Sideline are near each other in the top-left corner of the map. Where you begin is up to you, but it's tough to gain momentum if you're struggling to get streetball wins.
How to Win Streetball Games in NBA 2K25
While there are some quest specific rewards, the best value of streetball games is usually going to be for grinding VC and MyPOINTS. Any playstyle can work if you see regular success, but players have already found a few reliable paths to streetball wins.
If you head to The Sideline, start by unlocking The Ballburglar. Following that up by grabbing Peppermint Matty is also a good way to go, and after that you'll probably want to focus on Double Dribble. The big reason for this is that Double Dribble doesn't have a strong interior center on his team. The Ballburglar can make quick work of them on the inside, just try to keep the ball moving and be careful about turnovers.
If you want to maximize your MyPOINTS, one of the best in-game moves for that is alley-oops. They're difficult, but once you've found a rhythm it can be extremely effective. You double-tap Y or Triangle to throw for an alley-oop, but be careful not to do this when no one is in position for it. If there's only a defender at the rim, the ball is just gonna bounce off the board and into their hands for the rebound.
The next best place to focus your time is at The Dunes, and in this case you're looking to knock off Danny Dunkman. His team isn't particularly strong, but the biggest benefit is that Dunkman is very short. You can probably knock him off even with the default teammates, but Dunkotron 5000 can nail some great driving dunks on him and The Custodian brings solid perimeter defense to the table.
Once you hit The Temple, continue to choose your first teammates based on your own playstyle. If you're looking for the MyPOINTS grind option, Velvet and Illusion Johnson are both strong with alley-oops. Getting each of them on your team could give you a lot of options
No matter where you start, focus on solid play without too many big mistakes and you should be able to regularly win at streetball in NBA 2K25. If they're getting ahead of you early, worry more about defense and preventing turnovers when the game begins. You also have the option of inviting a friend for co-op to plow through a series of games, but you'll still have to beat each of the bosses solo to unlock them and wrap-up the main streetball quests.
