One of the biggest annual releases in the world of sports gaming, NBA 2K22 is now officially live on all platforms. The title comes just weeks before the start of the 2021-22 NBA season in October but after the conclusion of the Las Vegas Summer League.
The Summer League is, of course, the rookie (and 2nd-year players) showcase as they play a micro season with playoffs over the course of a few weeks. It's a great way for the league to highlight up and coming players while allowing the recent draft picks to get comfortable with fringe-level NBA competition.
There were multiple strong showings at this year's Summer League including number one overall pick Cade Cunningham and Evan Mobley. Here's the full list of NBA 2K22 Rookie Ratings.
NBA 2K22 top-rated rookies
It was a fascinating draft class going into July as the college basketball season was thrown into disarray amidst the pandemic. This resulted in multiple top prospects opting to sit out their final collegiate season and instead begin draft preparations.
There was some debate over who the Pistons would select with the first overall pick, but in the end, they chose Cade Cunningham of Oklahoma State University. Cunningham leads the 2K22 Rookie class but there are multiple players with similar stats.
Here are the top five NBA 2K22 rookie ratings:
- Cade Cunningham - 80 Overall
- Jalen Green - 79 Overall
- Evan Mobley - 78 Overall
- Jalen Suggs - 77 Overall
