Magic The Gathering has a brand new set releasing next month that features brand new mechanics, brand new cards, and above all else, Dinosaurs. That's right, Dinosaurs. Oh, and new Jurassic Park cards will be included with the set, which is rather fitting given the topic of the set. The new set, Lost Caverns of Ixalan, will also be coming to Magic The Gathering Arena early.
Lost Caverns of Ixalan Magic The Gathering Arena Release Date
The Lost Caverns of Ixalan is due for release on November 17, 2023, with a pre-release in local card game stores on November 10. However, the set is launching on November 14 in Magic The Gathering Arena, meaning that you can grab all of the cards from the set and test them out earlier rather than the general release.
It's currently unclear whether this release for Lost Caverns of Ixalan on Magic The Gathering: Arena will include the Jurassic Park cards, as the simulator never got the Doctor Who cards that were recently released, and the previously released Transformers Universe Beyond cards are also missing. It's possible that we'll only get the cards from the core set in this Magic The Gathering: Arena release.
What time will Lost Caverns Of Ixalan be released?
While we don't have official times on when we can expect Lost Caverns of Ixalan to be released in MTG: Arena, it's likely to be the same as the last set, Wilds of Eldraine. This means that the maintenance period will be as follows the evening before the set release:
- 8:00 AM PT
- 11:00 AM EST
- 16:00 PM BST
- 15:00 UCT
Assuming that this maintenance period takes around three hours, Lost Caverns of Ixalan will launch at the following times:
- 11:00 AM PT
- 14:00 PM ET
- 19:00 PM BST
- 20:00 PM CEST
- 3:30 AM ACST (November 15th)
