How to Plant Seeds in Moonstone Island

Moonstone Island is a cozy life-sim game with adventure elements. Like most games of this type, farming, and building houses are the primary gameplay attributes here.

Early in the game, you are tasked with planting seeds. However, the game doesn't quite explain how to do it. If you're confused about how this works, you're in the right place. Here's how you can plant seeds in Moonstone Island. 

How to Select and Plant Seeds in Moonstone Island

To plant seeds in Moonstone Island, stand next to the hole in the ground and select the seed icon from the screen. Since seed is not a consumable, there's no point in going to the inventory and selecting the "Use" option, as it won't do anything. Instead, go back to the game, drag the seed from the inventory bar on the left-hand side of the screen, and place it on the hole in the ground. If you're using a controller, press LB/L1 to scroll between the items and select any seed. Now, press X/Square to place it in the hole.

And that's it! It took us a while to figure it out as well, primarily because of the misleading Use button in the inventory. Once you have planted the seeds, don't forget to select the Water Can from the menu and pour it over the seeds you planted.
