The Humble Beginnings quest is this quest as they are now tasked with figuring out how to plant seeds to gather ingredients and cook a deliciously appetizing meal. Learn how to cultivate their organic farm by following these objectives to complete the Humble Beginnings quest in Mirthwood.
Mirthwood Humble Beginnings Quest Objectives List
After completing The Road to Brightoak quest, players will immediately receive this quest once they've successfully located the Copper tools. While they can view its objectives and set this quest to active, this quest will primarily involve their Housing Plot, which is in dire need of a clean-up.
As such, they must have obtained the tools as it will play a major role in ensuring they've completed their objectives and eventually tidying up their Housing Plot. Before we delve into completing the ques itself, let's look at the objectives to follow and complete for the Humble Beginnings quest in Mirthwood:
- Plant and harvest three Onions (0/3)
- Plant and harvest three Peas (0/3)
- Craft a Cooking Pot (0/1)
- Cook a Spring Soup (0/1)
How To Complete The Humble Beginnings Quest In Mirthwood?
After finding the Copper tools somewhere in Brightoak, they'll receive the Humble Beginnings quest, which they are to return home to begin progressing the quest. As the objectives have been outlined when viewing the quest from the Journal, they can start "cultivating" their land by planting crops and using them to cook the Spring Soup dish.
With the Onion and Pea seeds acquired from the Northdell Farm stall in the aforementioned quest, switch to the Gardening Hoe tool and start tilling the soil anywhere on their plot before planting the seeds. Using the Tool wheel (by hitting the TAB key), highlight and select the Onion and then Pea seeds and plant three of each in the tilling soil before using the Copper watering can to water them.
As they'll need to wait for the plant to grow and be ready for harvesting, they can move to the Workbench to craft the Cooking Pot, the blueprint already available. To craft the Cooking Pot, they'll need 15 Stone and ten Wood; the Stones can be harvested from the rocks found on their plot, while the purple-colored trees can be chopped down to forage some wood.
Once these resources have been mined and foraged, they can craft the Cooking Pot and place it anywhere on their plot. All that's left is to water their crops and wait for them to be ready for harvesting before making the Spring Soup at the Cooking Pot.
The only way players will know the crops are ready to gather the ingredients is by interacting with them, and they'll add the harvested ingredients to their Inventory. The Spring Soup recipe is available when interacting with the Cooking Pot, which requires one Onion and two Peas to make, and once it's finished cooking, this completes the Humble Beginnings quest in Mirthwood.
