Marvel Snap developer Second Dinner released the latest patch notes for the card battler game, adding the much-anticipated changes to card acquisition. Alongside these long-awaited changes to how Snappers can better acquire cards, new card balance changes were also included in this live patch update, and the game must be updated to reflect these changes.

The developer announced via their Discord server and the News tab in-game that a limited-time event, The Dark Avengers Global Bounty, has gone live as Snappers work together globally to participate in matches and earn rewards. According to a post via the Marvel Snap Discord channel and the official blog post on the game's official website, The Dark Avengers - Global Bounty event tasks Snappers to win as many games as possible for a limited time. This bounty event will occur between 14th and 28th January 2025 and will likely end following the weekly reset, as Snappers globally must secure plenty of victories to unlock rewards for everyone.

The developer detailed how this bounty-style event works, as Snappers must include specific cards in their decks during the event's run. For every victory they secure, their win contributes to the global tally, which increases the amazing rewards every Snapper receives from the event.

Lastly, every "Bounty card" that features in their deck also adds "progress" their victories add, meaning "each bounty card you use in a winning deck counts as an additional win." The "Bounty cards" the developer outlined are Dark Avengers-themed, except for a few cards, which we've listed below:

As for what rewards can be earned from The Dark Avengers Global Bounty event, these unlock as the "global win count" increases; which the following rewards are unlocked at these tiers:

• Tier 1: 5 Million Wins – 500 Credits
• Tier 2: 8 Million Wins – A Premium Mystery Variant
• Tier 3: 10 Million Wins – Three Snowflake Red Borders
• Tier 4: 15 Million Wins – A Knull Exclusive Variant
• Tier 5: 20 Million Wins – An X-23 Exclusive Variant
