Thanos is a "Big Bad" in Marvel Snap that will likely never be downgraded from Series 5. Thanos has a very powerful effect, unlike any other card in the game, that completely changes how a Marvel Snap deck can function. At the start of the game, Thanos will shuffle the six Infinity Stones into your deck. All of these Infinity Stones have various powers, and acquiring all of them will give Thanos a massive power boost. In order to beat Thanos, it is important to be aware of all the potential Infinity Stone effects while also keeping in mind that a monstrously powerful Thanos is on the way.
So, if you are ready to counter Thanos, you've come to the right place. This article will cover the best ways to counter Thanos in Marvel Snap, including tech cards, strategies, and more.

How To Counter Thanos In Marvel Snap
Thanos decks have gone through a number of evolutions throughout Marvel Snap's life cycle, but several elements remain consistent throughout. Here are several cards you can use to gut any Thanos player's strategy.
Killmonger
Killmonger is Thanos enemy number one. Each of the Infinity Stones costs only one Energy and Killmonger is able to take all of them out at once. That being said, be mindful of Thanos decks running Death as these archetypes are actively trying to destroy their own Infinity Stones anyway. So, an untimely Killmonger could be advantageous to them.
Darkhawk
Darkhawk is great to use against any Thanos player, as Darkhawk gets stronger for each card in your opponent's deck. Considering at the start of the game, six extra cards are added to your opponent's deck, Darkhawk gains a massive power boost for absolutely free. Players should still be playing other cards to add rocks to the enemy deck, as the Infinity Stones themselves draw a card whenever they are played, meaning it will not take too long for the enemy to draw through their entire deck.
Shang-Chi
This should go without saying, but Shang-Chi is and will likely always be a dominant force in the meta. This card is easily able to dispatch Thanos both in his regular state and after being buffed. Shang-Chi is always going to be a great inclusion.
Wave
Thanos decks often like to play multiple cards in a turn. Whether this be multiple Infinity Stones, zero-cost Death, or anything else post-nerf (or post-buff, in this case) Wave is able to shut these strategies down.
And now you know the best Thanos counters in Marvel Snap.
