The latest Development Roadmap from developer Second Dinner provided new supportive details for their latest in-game feature, the Collector's Vault. This feature can be accessed from the Token Shop, which gives Marvel Snappers access to "random, unowned, and unique Variants" for owned base cards released within the last year and included in exclusive bundles.

Unfortunately, Snappers must act fast if they wish to add these previously exclusive variant cards to their Collection but also have deep enough pockets to spend Gold on these variant cards. This guide aims to provide all the essential details on the Collector's Vault Shop features, availability dates and times, rarities, and more before the vault doors open (and close) in Marvel Snap.

Marvel Snap Collector's Vault Release And End Dates & Times

The latest in-game Shop feature, the Collector's Vault, debuts in Marvel Snap during the "We Are Venom" season and will be live starting on 24th October 2024; however, the star and end times has yet to be confirmed by Second Dinner but we may have a theory. Determined on the daily and weekly refreshes, which have remained unchanged as of October 2023, we could anticipate this feature to be available at 12 pm PT / 3 pm ET / 7 pm UTC from the Token Shop in-game.

Snappers have five days to view all the randomized Variant cards appearing within the Collector's Vault and make purchases before the vault doors close on 29th October 2024 before the next refresh. Furthermore, the developer noted in their October 2024 Development Roadmap that the Collector's Vault "will come back periodically" with more Variant cards available to acquire.

What Is The Collector's Vault In Marvel Snap?

Announced in the "We Are Venom" season release, Collector's Vault is a brand new game feature, and the developer confirmed its availability this October. The Collector's Vault lets Snappers gain access for a limited period to previously released Variant cards that were featured in exclusive bundles that appear within this vault through the Token Shop.

Once the Collector's Vault goes live in-game, Snappers can expect to find six random variant cards that appear, and for a limited time, they can spend Gold to acquire any, all, or none of these variants from the Collector's Vault. As to which variant cards qualify to appear within the Collector's Vault, they must have been featured in an exclusive bundle and have been released in-game around one year before the launch of the Collector's Vault.

The Variant cards Snappers can expect to see within the Collector's Vault will be "six random, unowned, and unique Variants" for base cards that Snappers already own. Additionally, each of the sex Variants that appear within the Collector's Vault will be labeled with one of three rarities or "Collector's Quality," which determines their Gold pricing and, likewise, the "odds" of which these rarities appear in each Snapper's Collector's vault when available.

As mentioned before, the Variant cards Snappers can expect to find within the Collector's Vault are for variants whose base cards they already own. An example would be if Snappers owned the Moon Knight base card, there's a chance that Moon Knight variant cards would appear within the vault.

Likewise, any variant cards that are "bundle exclusives" and released at least one year before the Collector's Vault launch can also be featured within the Vault. For example, the Groot Dan Hipp variant card featured in the I Am Groot bundle in May 2023 will gain eligibility as it was released one year before the vault opening in Marvel Snap.

There are dozens of "incredible art pieces released during the last two years" that would be extremely detailed to list but don't worry, as they'll likely reappear within the Collector's Vault when it does return to Marvel Snap. As mentioned before, the pricing is dependent on the variant cards' rarities or "Collector's Quality": Amazing, Sensational, or Exquisite, and the odds of these rarities appearing in the vault, which details have yet to be released regarding the vault's shop makeup odds.
