Magik is a very powerful card in Marvel Snap. Magik's On Reveal ability will change the location she is played into Limbo - thereby adding a seventh turn to the game. Not only is Magik great for removing annoying locations like Rickety Bridge, but she provides you with one extra draw to hopefully acquire the final combo piece you need to win the game.
So, if you are interested in using Magik in your deck, you've come to the right place. This article will cover the best Magik decks in marvel Snap that you can use to reach Infinite, including deck lists, strategies, and more!
Best Magik Decks In Marvel Snap
Magik is usually best played in any kind of combo deck. Decks that want to simply flood each location with powerful cards can usually accomplish this goal by the final turn of the game. However, for decks that rely on core combo pieces such as Silver Surfer, one additional turn could be the difference maker between winning and losing.
Unfortunately, this does mean that Magik requires a lot of support to be used effectively. Simply adding an extra turn for no reason will do nothing more than stall out the game unless you have a specific game plan in mind. However, if you have the tools to make use of Magik's extra turn, things can get pretty crazy pretty quickly.
Shenaut Deck
The Shenaut deck is where Magik sees the most play. The deck's game plan is fairly straightforward. You will want to control the early game as much as possible with cards like Sunspot and Iceman. If possible, you will play Moon Girl on turn four to copy She-Hulk already in your hand. Then, after playing Magik on turn five and floating turn six, you can play Infinaut and double She-Hulk on turn seven for a whopping forty power play!
This deck does work without Magik (utilizing Psylocke instead), but this only allows you to play Infinaut and a single She-Hulk on the final turn. Magik truly unlocks this deck's full potential.
Shenaut Deck List:
Mister Negative & Silver Surfer
As mentioned, Magik is great for stalling out the game so you can draw your big combo pieces. Silver Surfer is probably the most obvious of these, and, despite the nerf, he is still a very good card.
Mister Negative & Silver Surfer Deck List:
- Domino
- Zabu
- Silver Surfer
