Black Bolt in the Marvel Universe is an incredibly strong hero, capable of vaporizing entire beings with a single word. Black Bolt in Marvel Snap, unfortunately, is not quite as powerful. Despite having decent enough stats for his cost, Black Bolt's ability is very lackluster. On reveal, Black Bolt will force your opponent to discard the lowest-cost card in their hand. 

In rare cases, you could hit your opponent's win condition and instantly force a retreat. However, the randomness factor is too high for Black Bolt to ever be considered a reliable disruption tool. Best Black Bolt Decks In Marvel Snap

At the time of writing this, the only viable best Black Bolt decks in Marvel Snap are those that include Stature. Before Stature, Black Bolt was dead on arrival. This has certainly not changed since Stature made her debut, but she certainly gave players a reason to include Black Bolt in their decks. 

Currently, Black Bolt is one of two cards that can discard a card from the opponent's hand (along with Moon Knight). This means if you plan on running Stature in your deck, you are all but forced to include at least one of these cards. 

There are several variations on the Stature archetype, and whether you enjoy playing Move, Discard, or anything else, there is certainly a deck out there for you. 

Stature Deck

As mentioned, the only deck where Black Bolt is likely to see any play is in a Stature deck. Stature is a five-cost seven-power card that has its cost reduced to one if your opponent discarded a card this game. Your opponent can discard a card at any point during the entire match, at which time Stature's cost will be set to one. 

A one-cost seven-power card is nothing to scoff at and can be the difference maker moving into the final turns of the game when you need that extra burst.
