New Tier 5 Items Coming To LEGO Fortnite

While players have been busy crafting everything under the sun in LEGO Fortnite, some have been anxiously awaiting the rollout of brand new items to help them on their adventure. According to some Fortnite leakers, new Tier 5 items and weapons are set to make their debut in LEGO Fortnite in the near future.

As posted by iFireMonkey on X, via @NotGrammyNorma and @ParadiseFNS5, players will soon be able to craft the following Tier 5 items:

• Rift Sword
• Iron Axe
• Titanium Shovel
• Titanium Pickaxe

The infomation was posted alongside a video, which gave an early look at some of the tools in action. 

IFireMonkey also claimed that Epic Games are working on a "Rift" tier for a number of other weapons, such as a Rift Hammer and Rift Recurve Crossbow, though these could be exclusive to the Battle Royale mode and not LEGO Fortnite. 

When Do Tier 5 Items Drop In LEGO Fortnite?

Given that the information appeared via leaks, it's unclear exactly when Epic Games is set to rollout the Tier 5 items in LEGO Fortnite. It's also worth keeping in mind that their release is subject to Epic Games, meaning that they might not release at all.

Some of the items will likely be more useful than others, such as the Rift Sword which will likely make short work of any general mobs. As for the Titanium Shovel —  well, I'm sure someone will have a use for it.

These new items have yet to release in LEGO Fortnite and, as such, we currently don't know what sort of resources players will need in order to craft them. They could each be made from existing, hard-to-find materials, or could rely on a whole new resource that has yet to be added into the game.
