As a Klown in Killer Klowns from Outer Space, your goal is to kill all the humans, whether it's by your own hand or through the Klownpocalypse - but as a human, you can get your revenge and kill the Klowns, too. If you manage to take down all of the Klowns, they'll be able to respawn eventually, but you'll have a lot more time to escape and help your teammates to do the same.
Killing the Klowns is a pretty important mechanic and can be the difference between winning and losing the game, but not everyone knows how to do it. Here's how to kill Klowns in Killer Klowns from Outer Space as a human.
How To Kill Klowns In Killer Klowns From Outer Space
Killing a Klown in Killer Klowns from Outer Space requires a few separate steps, and you'll need to have some items on hand. Before you even try killing a Klown, you'll want to make sure you have at least two weapons - a gun or another weapon, and a sharp object. If you don't have any weapons on hand, it's better to run from the Klowns than to approach them and try to kill them.
Downing & Stunning Klowns
First, you'll need to use your non-sharp weapon to stun the Klown. Using whatever weapon you have on hand, you'll want to approach the Klown and engage in combat, hitting (or shooting) the Klown until they fall down, stunned.
Engaging in combat with Klowns is often difficult on your own, especially if the Klowns themselves team up, so it's best to stick with other humans if you end up in a fight. You'll have a much higher chance of winning if you have multiple humans, and thus multiple weapons, on your side.
Killing Klowns
Once the Klown has been stunned, you'll need another weapon to take them down for good. However, the weapon you use to kill the Klown has to be a sharp object - like an Axe, a Knife, or another bladed weapon. Even a shotgun or pistol won't kill a downed Klown - it has to be a sharp object.
Just approach the downed Klown with the sharp object and stab their nose, and they'll die. While the Klown is downed, they won't be able to hurt you or your teammates, so killing them is relatively easy at this point. Killing them will put them on the sidelines for a full 45 seconds, rendering them unable to attack survivors, put Cotton Candy on exit gates, or otherwise interact with the world. This is a huge advantage for your team and can grant you enough time to escape under some circumstances.
Remember, though, that if you down a Klown and don't kill them, they'll be able to get up after a few seconds and start attacking you again. If you can't kill a Klown because you don't have a sharp object or you need to spend your time taking down one of the other Klowns, it's best to make a run for it! Otherwise, you can be left being attacked by a Klown with no means of defending yourself, which can mean certain death.
