Simulated Universe is an infinitely replayable game mode in Honkai Star Rail. Players will make their way through Rogulike dungeons picking up random buffs and maintaining limited healing resources in the hopes of defeating the final boss. There are 6 Worlds in Honkai Star Rail's Simulated Universe, each with varying levels of difficulty. World 3 Difficulty 2 is particularly hard as this will be a player's first experience with an increased difficulty level.

Honkai Star Rail Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2 Guide
Players shouldn't have too much trouble defeating lesser mobs or Elite enemies in Simulated Universe, as long as your team composition, Traces, and Relics are at the appropriate level according to your Equilibrium Level; common mobs should pose little to no threat.
Things change, however, when discussing the final boss of this World, Gepard. Gepard is not only incredibly tanky but will summon additional enemies in each phase. He will also adopt a counterattacking stance and deal damage to all friendly characters that damage him.
Gepard has three phases, each of which will bring more powerful mobs into the mix. Here is a free-to-play option to defeat him.
Best Team Composition
Gepard is weak to Physical, Lightning, and Imaginary characters. Unless you are lucky enough to have access to Welt, dealing Imaginary damage is out of the question. Furthermore, most mini-bosses in this World are weak to Ice, but Gepard himself is not. This makes team building very difficult, and we would recommend using the Downloader to swap out an Ice character before facing Gepard.
- Serval (Lightning)
- Fire Trailblazer (Fire) / Trailblazer (Physical)
- Natasha (Physical)
- March 7th (Ice)
The team above is a decent choice and will likely be able to deal with most of the content found in this world. However, if you have a powerful five-star character from the Departure Warp or managed to pick up a powerful four-star Physical or Ice character like Sushang, we recommend swapping them out for March 7th right before challenging Gepard. Here is a more premium team composition to try out:
Welt and Jing Yuan should provide more than enough DPS to take down all enemies that appear on screen, and if for some reason they can't, Clara is there to clean up any stragglers. Bailu is another great option who can revive characters if they suffer an unlucky death. Finally, if you want to solo this World:
- Clara (Physical)
Clara is able to solo Simulated Universe content in the game but requires the Path of Abundance or Destruction to sustain herself indefinitely. Clara excels in this World in particular because Gepard is weak to Physical attacks.
Best Path For World 3 Difficulty 2
The Path of Abundance is always the safest option when running Simulated Universe. It provides additional passive healing and a cleanse if you pick up enough Blessings. Furthermore, Abundance Blessings are all tailored to keep you alive longer by increasing your health or the outgoing healing of your character.
Alternative Paths would be the Destruction Path which has a healthy mix of durability and damage, or the Preservation Path, to never die. And that's everything you need to know about Simulated Universe World 3 Difficulty 2!
