How To Link Honkai Star Rail Account To PS5 (PSN)

Honkai Star Rail has finally launched on PlayStation 5 with the release of the 1.4 update. Since Honkai Star Rail supports cross-progression, new players use their PSN accounts and link them to Honkai Star Rail accounts to carry over their progress across multiple devices in the future.

On the other hand, existing players can also link their existing HoYoverse accounts to PS5 to import all the content to PS5 and continue their journey. Here is how to do it.

Steps to Link Honkai Star Rail Account to PS5 (PSN) Account

Scenario 1: You are playing Honkai Star Rail for the first time

• Method 1: If you have already created a HoYoverse account, it is recommended that you log in with the existing HoYoverse account. When you run Honkai: Star Rail for the first time on your PS5™, choose “Already have an account, log in directly”, then follow the instructions to link your HoYoverse account with the PSN account you are currently using.
• Method 2: Use your PSN account to create a new HoYoverse account. When you run Honkai: Star Rail for the first time on your PS5™, choose “Create a HoYoverse account” to log into the game.

Scenario 2: You already have a Honkai: Star Rail character on the PC/mobile

• Step 1: Confirm your HoYoverse account is already linked to your email account. You can confirm if your email is linked under “Settings > Account > User Center” in the game.
• Step 2: Confirm that the location of your PSN account is the same as that of the server where your game character is. 
• Step 3: When you run Honkai: Star Rail for the first time on your PS5™, choose “Already have an account, log in directly”, then follow the instructions to link your HoYoverse account with the PSN account you are using.
