Honkai Star Rail Fired Quest: How To Complete

Honkai: Star Rail includes multiple quests you can complete to progress in the story and learn more about the characters, enemies, and more. One of the side quests in the game is called Fired, which takes place in Central Starskiff Haven, Xianzhou Luofo. 

In this quest, Secretary Xikui at the Palace of Astrum will message you regarding Tantan, who is planning a trial program called Xianzhou Speed Tester and asks you to talk to him and take some lessons. Upon completing the Fired quest in Honkai: Star Rail, you will get 250 Trailblaze EXP, 1 Refined Aethers, 25 Strales, 15000 Credits, and 40 Stellar Jades. You can find its complete guide below.

How To Complete Fired Quest In Honkai: Star Rail

After you start the Fired quest, go to the location marked on the map above and talk to Tantan. After a long chat, he will ask you to stand on the bridge, hold on to the counter, and count how many starskiffs go past in a set period. 

A small cutscene will appear, and then he will ask you how many white passenger starskiffs went past, and the answer to this question is 3. 

You will then again have to talk to Tantan to keep measuring the traffic and retake the test. Before the completion of time, a high-speed starskiff will go by and causes a traffic incident. Go to the next marked location on the map to check if anyone's hurt. Once you reach the site, complete a short dialogue and check on the injured folks.

After completing a brief conversation with the passenger (Mei), you will be asked to help her by finding scattered notes. You will have to use Diting to do so, and once you find them, you will see a number in them. Contact this number; however, it will be the wrong one.

Collect the second notes set and read them by going to your Bookshelf, and after that, find the third one on the bench next to the incident place and contact the number mentioned in it (you will get an option to do so). 

Click on "There has been an accident," complete the chat via messages, and then collect the final set of notes and contact the number mentioned in it as well.  Afterward, go to the next marked location on the map and talk to Luhui. After completing the dialogue, you will receive a message from Tantan, and all you have to do is complete the chat with him and then, Luhui. 

Then, go back to where the incident occurred and talk to Tantan. Go to Mei and hand her over the notes and complete the dialogue to get Mei's Testimony. After that, go to Pawnbroker Handian, Jeweler's Pagoda Owner, opposite to where the incident took place, and talk to him as he is a witness.

After that, take Clumsy Lady's testimony, who will be standing where the incident occurred, and finally talk to Suddenly Excited Man, standing next to a lamp pole. 

Go back to Mei, say goodbye, and then go to the next marked place on the map and talk to Xikui at the Palace of Astrum. Then go to Tantan and try to deduce the location of the offending starskiff. He will give you a picture, and you will have to choose the right one, and the answer will be "The third one from the left."

You will then have to go to the marked location in Stargazer Navalia with Tantan to hunt the culprit. Once you reach there, you will have to submit the proof (the second option) after talking to Culprit (Proud Man) and then fight him. 

After that, you will receive a message from Luhui, and all you have to do is complete the chat, and you can choose any of the mentioned options. You will then have to go to Mei and Luhui at the location marked on the map and tell them about the result of the investigation. After a series of dialogues, the Fired quest will be completed, and you will receive rewards.
