Honkai Star Rail Countdown Event Announced: Dates, Rewards & More

It was recently announced on Twitter that a Honkai Star Rail Countdown event will be occurring in the leadup to the game's official launch on April 26, 2023. By participating in this Countdown event, players can receive a ton of rewards. What Is The Honkai Star Rail Countdown Event?

The Honkai Star Rail Countdown event is a Twitter-based event in which participants can opt into having elements of their profile change automatically each day. This can include things like the account profile picture, username, location, and bio. Rest assured, HoYoverse has stated that no personal data will be collected during the event, so feel free to participate!

The Honkai Star Rail Countdown Event will be live from April 18, 2023 - April 25, 2023. 

How To Participate In The Honkai Star Rail Countdown Event

In order to participate in the event, Trailblazers will need to head to the official Star Rail Countdown event site. From here, players can read through a short explanation and disclaimer explaining the event in further detail. Once you are satisfied, simply press "Participate," and you will be transferred to an external site. 

Trailblazers will need to Authorize the BelugalconDecoration app to make changes to their Twitter account in order to participate. 

Honkai Star Rail Countdown Event Rewards

By participating in the Honkai Star Rail Countdown event, players will have the chance to receive a "call" on launch day. It is still unclear who this call is from, but it will likely be from one of the voice actors in the game. HoYoverse stated that players will receive a call from the character of their choice and, considering this event was designed as a way for players to "meet" certain characters before launch, this would make the most sense. 

It is also possible to obtain exclusive personal homepage backgrounds of the character by participating in the event.
