How To Solve 'A Bird In The Hand' Ruins Puzzle

As soon as you arrive in the marked location with Poppy Sweeting and Dorran the Centaur, you will find yourself in front of a cave entrance that's locked behind some runic puzzle.

You will notice that there are seven rune symbols on the cave entrance, and only two of them are glowing. Remember those two glowing symbols. There are also two rotating pillars, a fixed pillar, and those same seven rune symbols on the ground next to the entrance. 

The trick is to align the pillars in such a way that their light falls on the ground counterparts of those glowing symbols. Once both the two cave symbols and the same two ground symbols are glowing, the cave entrance should open.
