Hogwarts Legacy: How To Solve Clock Tower Door Puzzle

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is no ordinary school. It's teeming with secret rooms, hidden crofts, undiscovered shortcuts that lead to areas outside of school, and more. There are also three secret challenges in Hogwarts Legacy; solving these will reward you with new Gear Appearances.

One such secret is tied to the infamous Clock Tower in Hogwarts. So if you're wondering how to solve this mystery, fret not. Here's our guide explaining how to solve the Clock Tower puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy.

How To Solve The Clock Tower Puzzle In Hogwarts Legacy

Once in the Clock Tower courtyard, you will find a gigantic pendulum swinging to and fro. Look upwards, and you will notice four strange symbols behind the pendulum. Each symbol is associated with a locked door in the Clock Tower. 

The doors with the two symbols on the left are on the ground floor next to where the members of Crossed Wands Dueling Club practice. The other two doors are on the upper floors and shouldn't be hard to find. To solve this Hogwarts Mystery, you must open all four doors.

To open a door, you must slow or freeze the pendulum when it's over the matching symbol. You can do this with the Arresto Momentum spell or the Glacius spell. 

We recommend using Glacius since it will give you more time to run to the unlocked doors and snag the rewards from inside. Then, freeze the pendulum over the correct symbols four times to open their associated doors. Here's what you will get from each door, starting from the symbols on the left: 

• Door 1: Decoration item
• Door 2: Disillusionment chest 
• Door 3: Decoration item
• Door 4: Random Legendary gear
