Then, simply confirm your decision by pressing X/ A. The game will now fast-forward to the time of day. However, it should be noted that you can't change the time to specific hours of the day; it will either be nighttime or daytime.

Another thing to be aware of is that this "waiting" mechanic only works in areas outside of the Room of Requirement and won't work if you're inside the room.
