Since its introduction in update 1.2 of Genshin Impact, the Dragonspine Mountain has proved to be a challenge for all kinds of players, full of dangerous enemies and plenty of mystery, the area is also packed with many precious materials and rewards to collect.
One of the rarest and most sought after around this inhospitable region are Starsilver ores, a mineral used to craft different types of weapons, with properties that increase the power of characters with an affinity to the Cryo element.
Where to find and how to farm Starsilver
You will have a difficult time finding much of this material, though if you know the areas it is likely to spawn in it makes the process of stockpiling it much easier.

Due to its nature, Starsilver ore can only be found within the Dragonspine region, and in addition to the extreme climate of the landscape, it can be somewhat difficult to identify them when first sighted, so we recommend you to look for these on the edges of the mountain, as you can potentially find up to three or four ores in a single deposit.
To collect these, you can use any character that uses the Claymore as its primary weapon, such as Eula, Diluc, Razor, or Xinyan. Characters with explosive abilities like Klee, and those with Geo abilities will also be helpful when trying to collect Starsilver ore.
Using the Starsilver to craft weapons and items
Once you collect enough of this material, you can travel with any of the blacksmiths around Teyvat to get the chance of crafting various weapons and items for the battle.
The ones you will look after will be the Dragonspine Spear, one of the best F2P weapons in the entire game, as well as the Snow-Tombed Starsilver, the perfect weapon for Chongyun and Eula, the latest introduced character in the game, and the Frostbearer, a powerful Catalyst with great Cryo capabilities.

All these weapons need 50 Starsilver ores each to be crafted, so getting your hands on them will require several trips to the Dragonspine Mountain, however looking at the power these weapons can handle, it is worth the risk and effort.
Other items you can build are the Warming Bottle for two ores, a gadget used to create a fake Warming Seelie to get rid of Sheer Cold effects, and Fine Enhancement Ores to upgrade your weapons, for three ores each.
