How to complete The Saga of Mr. Forgetful quest in Genshin Impact

The Genshin Impact 2.2 was released on 12th October 2021, with the highly anticipated Tsurumi Island now open to Travelers. With the addition of a new region, players can now undertake a profusion of new world quests to explore the sixth island of the Inazuma region. 

The Saga of Mr. Forgetful is one of the many quests in Genshin Impact 2.2 that players can complete to earn free Primogems and two furnishings blueprints. If you’re having a hard time while completing The Saga of Mr. Forgetful quest, we’ve got a comprehensive guide for the same.

Completing The Saga of Mr. Forgetful quest in Genshin Impact

The Saga of Mr. Forgetful world quest takes place in Tsurumi Island, and players can activate it by speaking with Roald. The primary objective of this quest is to capture the photos of the ruin murals. Before moving forward, it’s essential to note that this quest will only appear a day after completing the Octave of the Maushiro quest.

To start off, teleport to Tsurumi Island Statue of the Seven waypoint and head south. In order to trigger the quest, talk to Roald, also known as Roald the Adventurer and give him 10x Fluorescent Fungus after a short cutscene. The Fluorescent Fungus can be obtained from the Ceremonial Site and south of Mt. Kanna on Tsurumi Island.

Next, Roald will ask you to take photos of the ruin murals located under the Skirikoro peak. Start by teleporting to the Shirikoro Peak waypoint and head north until you reach the underground. 

1. Ruin Mural

After reaching the ground level, navigate to the northeast into the secret underground beyond the wall. If the wall is still intact, use the Peculiar Pinion gadget to demolish it. Once players have reached the location, take a photo of the Ruin Mural using the camera from the Paimon menu by facing upwards.

2. Ruin Mural

For the second mural, head southeast from the previous location. Then, navigate through the doorway to reach the large room. Finally, take a photo of the ruined mural using the camera from the Paimon menu.

3. Ruin Mural

The third Ruin Mural can be found by heading over to the south from the previous location. Players will encounter the Ruin Mural on the right wall after entering the room.

4, 5, 6. Ruin Mural

To find the rest of the Murals, head west from the third location and enter the large room through the dome. All the remaining Ruin Murals is engraved on the walls in the same room. Take a photo of all the three murals inside the room using the camera from Paimon Menu.

After accumulating all six photos, return to Roald and speak him with for one last time to complete the quest. Completion of The Saga of Mr. Forgetful quest grants the Wonders of the World achievement "My Life as an Adventurer". Beyond this, players will also get 20x Primogems and other valuable resources.
