The Golden Apple Archipelago returns to Teyvat in the limited-time event for Genshin Impact's 2.8 update. The island can only be unlocked once Travelers have completed Act I of the Summertime Odyssey event, allowing them to freely explore, participate in limited-time World Quests, and uncover the island's mysteries.
One such mystery is the appearance of Fatui Skirmishers scattered across the island; however, their purpose remains unclear. This guide details where Travelers can find and defeat the Fatui Skirmishers on the Golden Apple Archipelago in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact Golden Apple Archipelago – All Fatui Skirmishers Locations
After Travelers have reached the Golden Apple Archipelago, they can set out to explore the idyllic island and what it has to offer. During your explorations, you'll stumble across Fatui Skirmishers appearing throughout the location.

While their presence is likely tied to limited-time World Quests not available for the 2.8 update, what they're intended to do has yet to be revealed. Nevertheless, until their motives are fully realized, here are the locations of all the Fatui Skirmishers in Genshin Impact:
Hydrogunner Legionnaire
The Hydrogunner Legionnaire can be located on Broken Isle, a subarea west of the Golden Apple Archipelago. From the Teleport Waypoint at this location, drop down from the cliff edge and head slightly west until you've spotted a rocky ledge protruding from the cliff.
Here, you can locate the Hydrogunner Legionnaire; however, interacting with the enemy doesn't produce much dialogue as of writing. Nevertheless, there are apples to collect beside the Skirmisher for your efforts in the meantime.
Mirror Maiden
The next Fatui Skirmisher can also be found on Broken Isle, but you'll need to travel north-east from the Teleport Waypoint until you've reached the island's shores. Keep an eye out for five large and narrow rock statues not far from the location before descending onto the beach to find the Mirror Maiden.
Unlike the Hydrogunner Legionnaire, the Mirror Maiden has dialogue once interacting with her; however, it doesn't reveal many details. She'll insist that she needs "to get back," that "he's still there," and her brothers "are gone."
Electrohammer Vanguard
The third Fatui Skirmisher, the Electrohammer Vanguard, can be Minacious Isle west of the Teleport Waypoint. You'll need to locate a large crater with a cliff at its center, which you'll need to climb up to find the Fatui Skirmisher.
Start climbing from the center section and work around the cliff until you've used a large tree root to reach the rocky outcrop and cross over to the opposite side. Here, you'll locate an Imaging Conch and the Electrohammer Vanguard straight ahead, who'll talk of an insignia they're looking for.
Geochanter Bracer
After locating the Electrohammer Vanguard, interact with the Imaging Conch, which produces a projection of the last Fatui Skirmisher, the Geochanter Bracer. He'll talk of something they've seen recently discovered; however, it doesn't reveal much yet.
To find the Geochanter Bracer, he can be located on a smaller island between Broken and Minacious Isles just west of a Waverider Waypoint. He can't be interacted with as he's hiding inside a large conch shell with no way of reaching him.
Based on the dialogue cues from a few Fatui Skirmishers, we can safely assume that the limited-time World Quests, The Misplaced Photo, The Discarded Insignia, and A Misplaced Conch are somewhat connected. Until the World Quests become available, we will endeavor to provide more updates once more reliable information is available.
