Genshin Impact Yun Jin Hangout Event guide: Rewards, achievements and all endings

Genshin Impact's Hangout Events are additional story content featuring two joining (or returning) characters on their daily adventures in Teyvat. As the 2.4 update features two more events for Ningguang and the latest character, Yun Jin, we get acquainted with Liyue's opera singer and Yun-Han Opera Troupe's director.

There are criteria to be met to unlock and complete the Hangout Event. This guide outlines all the information you need about the Hangout Event, the rewards, achievements, and every possible ending to unlock.

How to unlock "A Song That Knows Grace" Hangout Event?

To unlock Yun Jin's Hangout Event, they must have an Adventure Rank 28 or higher to be eligible for the event. Additionally, you will need to obtain two Story Keys earned by completing Daily Commissions. In Genshin Impact, earn one Story Key by completing eight Daily Commissions, four over two days.

For two Story Keys, they will need to do 16 Daily Commissions across four days as Travelers can only hold up to three Story Keys at a time. Additionally, they must complete the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act I "The Crane Returns on the Wind", unlocking the Hangout Event.

What are the rewards for the "A Song That Knows Grace" Hangout Event?

The rewards you can earn depend on how many endings you unlock throughout the event. Should they wish to maximise their reward earnings, replay the Hangout Event as many times as needed to unlock most, if not all, possible endings.

You can unlock three achievements during the Hangout Event to boost further your rewards with Primogems.

• Objective: Capture your memories with Yun Jin with a commemorative photo during the third ending.
• Reward: Primogems x5

A Strict Master Trains a Talented Pupil

• Objective: Pass the training session during the fifth ending without hitting a blue scarecrow.
• Reward: Primogems x5

The Lingering Song

• Objective: Complete the 'A Song That Knows Grace' event and unlock all five event endings.
• Reward: Primogems x20

There are five Hangout Event endings for A Song That Knows Grace. Trigger each ending through a series of dialogue choices that influence each outcome.

Ending 1 - "A Shame That the Road is Rocky"

To get the specific ending for "A Shame That the Road is Rocky, players must select the following dialogue choices.

Crisis Averted...?:

• "Ultimately, safety should come first..."

Guests from The Steambird:

• "Make the most of it. You may as well talk to them."

Suspicious Trails:

• "Get caught while you are sneaking."

*Travelers can still unlock this ending even when they've sneaked successfully but will need to make one dialogue choice in the following story path option.

A Strict Contract:

• "(No need to check in with Yun Jin. This ends now!)."

This is the Story Route for the A Shame That the Road is Rocky ending:

Ending 2 - "And Few Friends You Shall Find"

For this ending, they must select different dialogue options for A Strict Contract and not get caught in Suspicious Trails.

Suspicious Trails:

• "Don't get caught while sneaking."

A Strict Contract:

Ending 3 - "Brought Together by Common Interests"

Travelers will select a different dialogue option for Guests from The Steambird, which skips "Suspicious Trails" to trigger the "Brought Together by Common Interests" ending.

Guests from The Steambird:

• "Let's play it safe and book the interview in with your manager."

On Stage and Behind the Scenes:

• "That's a shame. Your offstage personality is definitely the cuter one."

This is the Story Route for the Brought Together by Common Interests ending:

Ending 4 - "A Souvenir Without Sentiment is of Little Worth"

Travelers select the alternate dialogue option for "On Stage and Behind the Scenes" to trigger this ending while retaining the same dialogue option for "Guests from The Steambird" from the third ending.

• "Let's play it safe and book the interview in with your manager."

Ending 5 - "The Cast Contemplates the Play's Meaning"

For the final ending of the "A Song That Knows Grace" Hangout Event, players will need to select a different dialogue option for Crisis Averted...? which develops an entirely new Story Path for this ending to be triggered.

This is the Story Route for The Cast Contemplates the Play's Meaning ending:

• Immersive Performance

• Meticulous Performance

It will take a few tries to unlock all the event endings; complete this Hangout Event to unlock every event ending and its related achievements and rewards. As such, replaying this event won't require more Story Keys meaning players can replay the event for free.
