Genshin Impact White Iron chunks: How to mine, best farming locations, uses and more

The world of Teyvat is filled with beautiful landscapes, majestic mountains and gorgeous architecture. Naturally, there are many resources available at our disposal, which, once harvested, can be used for crafting items.

White iron chunks are primarily used to craft and upgrade better weapons for your characters. Due to its importance near the endgame, ultimately, this resource, once crafted, makes your entire party more powerful, but where does one find white iron chunks in Teyvat?

How to mine white iron chunks in Genshin Impact?

To mine in Genshin Impact, players will have to locate ores they wish to farm by attacking them. Granted, players can find white iron chunks across the map, but a few areas have higher concentrations than others.

Once players have spotted a cluster of ore, they wish to attack, highlight the cluster and strike them with a weapon. Claymore-wielding characters can attack ores faster than other characters, so this seems to be the best option.

After the ores have been destroyed, players can collect their material which can be used for crafting purposes. For specifically mining white iron chunks, they’re easy to identify by their appearance. While iron chunks are typically brown, white iron chunks are stone grey with a slight shimmer.

Best farming locations for white iron chunks

Now that we know how to mine resources, such as white iron chunks, where can one find this valuable resource in Genshin Impact? Much like its predecessor iron chunks, white iron chunks can be located inside mines as well as mountainous regions or areas.

However, if you’re running out of luck locating them, visit these areas as they have an abundance of white iron chunks.

• Spiral Abyss: southeast in Monstaadt, clusters of white iron chunks can be easily found

• Mt. Aozang: if you can reach the summit of cloud Adeptus, players can find at least eight spots where you can have white iron chunks

• Wolvendom: head to the Wolvendom waypoint and go southeast, where a boulder can be located. Here, players can farm white iron chunks.

• Stormbearer Mountains: at the Starfell Lake’s statue of the seven, north of the Teleportation point, go east and look for a boulder where you can find white iron chunks.

Additionally, completing various expeditions, particularly at Whispering Woods, Dadaupa Gorge and Yaoguang Shoal, can reward players with white iron chunks or by making a purchase from Shitou in Liyue Harbour and Qiuyue in Inazuma for 400 Mora each for a maximum of 10.

Best uses for white iron chunks?

As mentioned previously, white iron chunks, a more valuable version of iron chunks, can be used primarily for crafting new weapons and to upgrade existing weapons.
