Crysis, the legendary shooter from 2007, will be 13 years old this November and jokes about it being too demanding for even the best PCs are still being told here and there. But, for a couple of weeks now, something is happening around Crysis.
It all started around 1 April, when Social Media accounts of the game changed the profile and cover photos to show someone wearing CryNet Nanosuit 2, and that also happened on the official site. At first, people have thought it was just an April's Fool joke. But, maybe, it is not.
Official Crysis Twitter posted this Tweet below, which clearly indicates that something is in the works.
Some are speculating that we will get Crysis 4, others are hoping for a remaster or a complete remake of the original Crysis from 2007. In the demo video of CryEngine 5.6 from the last year, some fans even noticed that bay showed at the end of the video looks like the Contact area from the original game, even comparing some hills in the background to determinate if it really is Contact or not. And all that while First Light is playing in the background, a soundtrack of the original game.
Last game from the series was Crysis 3, back in 2013, and it really does look like it's time for a new Crysis game, to set up some new high-end graphical standards in the industry as the original game did. Would you like to see remake/remaster of the original Crysis, or maybe a completely new game?
