After a couple of years in development and a few delays, the newest entry in the legendary DOOM series finally arrived last Friday.
The game is fun, addictive, beautiful, and offers a lot of challenges. Critics and fans both agree that the game is an excellent addition to this iconic franchise which also reflect on the game's sales.

Bethesda issues a statement in which they say that DOOM Eternal is the fastest-selling selling DOOM title to date, with more than double the launch revenue of the DOOM 2016.
On its first few days on Steam, the game surpassed 100,000 concurrent players multiple times, and it was also the best selling title there in the first week of launch.

Although the statement doesn't offer concrete numbers, we know that 2016-Doom's sales on the PC reached 500,000 copies in the first two weeks, and if the sales were doubled now in the first week, we can at least have some estimation from that.
