One of the leaders in artificial intelligent highlight clips Blink announced this week that the company has partnered with premier India-based esports company Nodwin Gaming to help increase engagement.
The newly formed partnership would create an AI producer that is able to cognitively select the best moments from esports games and tournaments to automatically create highlight clips. In a world where content is constantly being consumed by esports fans, the two companies hope they will be able to distribute real-time content on their various media platforms to help drive more viewership and subscriber engagement. Founder and CEO of NODWIN Gaming Akshat Rathee says of the new partnership with Blink, “We are thrilled to partner with a company of the caliber of Blink to bring to our esports community … our marquee events like PMCO produce literally thousands of hours of content and Blink enables us to access the best moments of this content in real-time and at convincing scale with a creative and personalized touch.” NODWIN Gaming also produces online content with gaming and esports shows such as Esports 360, The Games & Gadget Show, and The Cosplay Genie Show.
According to Yahoo, Blink is the first company to successfully “develop and commercialize a proprietary cognitive core that combines AI, voice and vision technology to analyze games by individual lead players in real-time” that also “detects the most memorable moments and curate highly attractive, engaging, and personalized clips for both broadcast and social media consumption.”
Blink CEO Ronen Shoval expressed his excitement for the partnership, as well in saying, “We are excited to partner with Nodwin Gaming and showcase at PMCO the full Blink capabilities … We believe that the content we create and the way we create significantly enhances community engagement by giving players, broadcasters and fans instant access to the best and brightest moments of an event.”
