Elden Ring fans have something new and golden to anticipate that's worthy of resting at a Site of Grace for or taking some time away from attempting to defeat one of the Great Enemies at the Realm of Shadow. An unofficial Elden Ring mythology lore book has been announced, with a release window of 2025 and pre-orders currently available for fans, fellow lore experts, and Soulsborne theory crafters to get ahead.
Grace Given: The Mythology of Elden Ring, written by known lore expert Geoff "SmoughTown" Truscott, is an in-depth account of the game's mythology "underpinning Miyazaki's latest masterpiece." The mythology book will be published by Tune & Fairweather, and the disclaimer states on the book's listing that it "is not an official product of FromSoftware or Bandai Namco and is not endorsed by either company."
According to the mythology book's listing on the Tune & Fairweather website, it explores Elden Ring's rich and deep mythology across over 500 pages, its exact page count to be finalized, boasting beautifully designed illustrations featuring the works of Shimhaq and MenasLG. It also includes "25 bespoke chapter-head woodblock-style designs by Chris Lewis Lee and a suite of original marquee artworks by Elliott Wells."
Pre-orders are available for Grace Given: The Mythology of Elden Ring, for which there are three unique versions, the Collector's, Limited, and Benefactor Edition, which are priced around $270, $758, and $1083, respectively.
