We explain the best farming route/loop Diablo 4 players can take to get Mythic Unique drops in Vessel of Hatred using the new Kurast Undercity.

The ultimate goal for most players in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred is getting to max level 60, then Paragon level 300, and finally getting some Mythic Unique items, aka Uber Uniques, to drop.

I've found three so far in 60 hours of playtime total (including leveling), and now, I'll help you get some Mythic Unique drops of your own with the best endgame farming loop in Vessel of Hatred, so let's leap in!

D4 Vessel of Hatred Endgame Farming Loop For Mythics

As you can see from the image above, I have three Mythic Uniques after finishing up my Vessel of Hatred review, with about 50 hours at level 60, the new max level. There's Nesekem, the Herald, Shattered Vow, and Tyrael's Might. All of them were drops, as crafting these with Runes feels like it would take another 50 to 100 hours of grinding.

The gameplay loop when on a push to increase my Paragon level and kill Uber bosses for Mythic uniques goes like this:

  • Kill a Realmwalker and complete a Seething Realm to get more Seething Opals. You always want a Seething Opal active, specifically, the Seething Opal of Torment, so you can get extra Boss Summoning material to drop alongside Infernal Compasses.
  • Complete Whispers in the current Helltide (kill Maiden and maybe one more quest), and get one Tortured Gift of Mysteries for the Living Steel boss summoning item. This should take about 10 minutes, including farming the 250 Aberrant Cinders to open the Tortured Gift of Mysteries.
  • Now do two to three Infernal Horde clears for possible Tribute drops, and choose the Masterworking Materials drops because you want to be able to upgrade your Mythic Uniques as soon as you can!
  • Jump into the Kurast Undercity, using a specific Tribute to target-farm for whatever you want the most. In this case, I strongly recommend going with the Tribute of Titans, which allows you to target-farm Boss Summoning materials. Repeat about three times.

One loop should take just over an hour. You can switch out the Realmwalker kills and drop them anywhere in the loop, as the goal is to time it so you don't waste time waiting for a Realmwalker to spawn.

A note on difficulty: The three Mythic Unique drops all came from Torment II. You can get Mythic Uniques to drop from Torment I to IV. I chose Torment II because it was the most comfortable fast farming difficulty for my character at its current power level.

Dedicate the last 30 minutes to killing Uber Bosses each day and the rest to completing the loop as many times as possible. For example, if you have six hours, you might get five or six loops in (depending on how strong your character is) and then 30 minutes to slay dozens of Uber Bosses. Start with Varshan, Beast in the Ice, Grigoire, and Lord Zir to get Summoning Materials from them as well, then slay Durial and Andariel as many times as your resources allow.

I would use all the boss summoning materials I've gathered and kill Uber bosses to get Mythic Unique items to drop. After roughly 50 hours in the endgame, I got three Mythic Uniques!

If your Glyphs are still below Tier 45, I suggest jumping into The Pit and doing about five quick runs (25 minutes for all five) to level up your five most important and active Glyphs. You can do this every second farming loop for efficiency.

Good luck, Nephalem!
