1TB of Disney's files were recently leaked by an online hacker group called 'Nullbulge,' unveiling tons of information about various IPs that was previously unavailable to fans. While some of that content included information about upcoming Disney games and films, those who read it also found some notable information about new additions to Dead by Daylight from Disney's Alien franchise.
The leaks included some information about upcoming Alien content in Dead by Daylight, including some concepts for a new Ellen Ripley skin and a new Rain Carradine character Rain Carradine is the protagonist of Alien Romulus - the upcoming Alien movie - suggesting an Alien Romulus collab could be coming sometime in the future.
Alien: Romulus is set to release next month, on 16 August 2024, in US theaters, so it's very possible that the potential DBD x Romulus collab could release around that time, along with Ellen Ripley's other new skin.
You can check out a sneak peek at the new Alien skins for yourself just below:
A few weeks ago, fans discovered lines in the game's code suggesting that Ellen Ripley will receive a "Rain cosmetic" in the future. This suggests that Carradine will likely be a legendary cosmetic for Ellen Ripley in Dead by Daylight rather than a character of her own. This would mean that she won't have her own perks, and can't be bought as a standalone survivor (players would need to buy Ripley, then Carradine, to play her).
While these leaks seem pretty promising, only time will tell if Rain and the other new Ellen Ripley skin will come to the game, as neither has been officially announced by Behaviour or the owners of the Alien IP.
