The MongolZ & 3DMAX Clinch Spot In Skyesports Championship Grand Final

One of the most exciting days of Skyesports Championship 2024 unfolded today as the top 2 teams ascended to the final day. It was a day of upsets as The MongolZ thrashed the event favorites Eternal Fire by 2-0 and 3DMAX took away the series that Aurora was on the verge of winning. 

The MongolZ dominated Eternal Fire right from the beginning as they let the opponents put just four rounds in the first half of Dust2 and the story of the second half was the same and The MongolZ closed out the map with a comfortable win by 13-7. Next, Mirage was thrilling as AMKAL destroyed The MongolZ in the first half to reach 9-3.

However, The MongolZ made a shocking comeback after AMKAL won pistol in the second half. They won 10 out of 11 rounds to win the map by 13-11 and the series by 2-0.

3DMAX vs Aurora was the first series in the Grand Final to go to the decider map. In the first map, Inferno, 3DMAX put Aurora on the backfoot by securing a massive lead of eight rounds in the first half. However, they couldn't close it out just yet as 3DMAX pulled off an insane comeback to reach 9-12, but it wasn't enough as the next round was secured by 3DMAX to win the map by 13-9. 

3DMAX was close to win the series by 2-0 as they crushed Aurora in the first half of Nuke to put 8-4 on the board and won the pistol in the second half as well. However, Aurora was not ready to give up and they successfully put a fight up against the opponents to take the series to Anubis by winning the map by 13-10.

Anubis got everyone glued to screen as it featured a tight competition between both teams. From the beginning, the rounds were going back and forth as the half ended at 6-6. Aurora was off to a great start in the second half as they reached 10-6 without losing any round. However, it was a day of upsets and that's exactly what 3DMAX did. They sent home one of the strongest looking teams in Skyesports Champions 2024 by winning the map by 13-11 and series by 2-1.
