Skyesports Championship 2024 Day 3 is over and the top positions in the leaderboards of both groups have been snatched away. Aurora and 3DMAX lead their respective groups without losing any match till now in the event and have confirmed their slot for the Playoffs.

Skyesports Championship 2024 Day 3 Standings & Results

Group A 

• Top Three Qualify For Playoffs

Aurora vs ENCE

• Winner: Aurora
• Final Score: 16-14

Played on Inferno, this was the closest and longest game of the day. ENCE had a strong start with a win in first three rounds; however, Aurora who are looking one of the strongest contenders, snatched away the rest of the half. ENCE was able to win just one more round to put 8-4 on the board. 

However, the tables turned in the second half as even though Aurora secured the pistol round, they were not able to extend the lead further as ENCE dominated for the rest of the game to take it to overtime. Aurora reset their mental in overtime to take away the map by 16-14.

BLEED vs The MongolZ

• Winner: BLEED
• Final Score: 13-11

The MongolZ played all of their games on Mirage till now and they had to fight their way through BLEED this time on the same map. The game was pretty close overall, with both teams taking the lead alternatively. The MongolZ won the first two rounds, but BLEED put 5-2 on the board soon after that. 

The opponents took away the lead again by winning the next four rounds consecutively and the half ended with a 6-6 tie as BLEED won the last round. The story was almost the same in the second half, except BLEED successfuly secure the first two rounds, but The MongolZ dominated the next six rounds and let the opponents win just one. 

Unfortunate for them, they were not able to close it out there as BLEED made a comeback to win four rounds straight, along with the match by 13-11. 

ENCE vs PARIVISION

• Winner: ENCE
• Final Score: 13-7

After almost pulling a winning comeback against Aurora, ENCE were looking to keep the standings competitive in order to qualify for playoffs. However, things didn't go their way in the beginning as even after winning pistol round, PARIVISION put 5-2 on the board after winning five out of six rounds on Dust2. 

However, once agains ENCE pulled a comeback to win rest of the rounds in the half and end it at 7-5. The second half was pretty one sided as they destroyed PARIVISION by letting them win only two rounds and secure the map by 13-7.

True Rippers vs Aurora

• Winner: Aurora
• Final Score: 13-5

Aurora continued their domination against True Rippers as well and beat them in a one sided game by 13-5 on Ancient. They had an almost perfect first half as they put 11-1 on the board and reached match point by winning the pistol again. While True Rippers tried to put up a fight, they didn't have a margin of error and were able to win the next four rounds, before Aurora registered another win and this time by 13-5.

Group B

• Top Three Qualify For Playoffs

3DMAX vs DMS

• Winner: 3DMAX
• Final Score: 13-5

From Group B, 3DMAX were looking unstoppable. Coming from a close first game, 3DMAX dominated day three of the event. They went up against DMS on Inferno, who were yet to win a match, and had a comfortable win against them by 13-5. At no point during the map, they allowed DMS to make a comeback. 

Eternal Fire vs AMKAL

• Winner: Eternal Fire
• Final Score: 13-5

This was another one sided game of the day, Eternal Fire had a solid start as they won four rounds back to back, but AMKAL were able to close the gap out by winning next three. However, after that Eternal Fire gained an unbreakable momentum to win the rest of the rounds in the first half to put 9-3 on the board. The story of the second half was almost the same, instead this time, AMKAL didn't have a chance at all as Eternal Fire closed out the map without an effort and won the match by 13-5.

3DMAX vs Revenant

• Winner: 3DMAX
• Final Score: 13-0

Revenant was yet to win a match during the event; however, they had a tougher team to beat this time. 3DMAX was looking too strong for them and the result wasn't any less. We got the first 13-0 of the tournament and now the chances of Revenant qualifying for Playoffs are looking pretty slim.
