There is no denying NAVI's Lithuanian rifler and lurker, Justinas "jL" Lekavičius, who showed his warrior instincts to win the first Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Major Championship and claim the MVP award, claiming his rightful place in history.
The GG Chronicles player profile video (a fantastic series from BLAST and GG.BET) sees Justinas "jL" Lekavičius speaking about his early career, his injury when he was young (he fell down a well and broke his shoulder), and how he spent a lot of time with the "bad boys" when growing up in the city of Kaunas.
There's a mixture of everything [in Kaunas]. You have a lot of bad boys. Unfortunately, I spent my time with the bad boys when I was growing up. But now I'm a good boy.
Another interesting bit from the GG Chronicles video was how jL felt when FaZe Clan pulled back a map to tie up the score at the Copenhagen Major.
Justinas "jL" Lekavičius explains how he pushed back after FaZe Clan's map win in the grand finale and how NAVI won the coveted trophy:
It felt like the dream got pushed away, but a good regroup. It all became real again. It's only one map, you have to full focus. We have to show them we're here to play. We're not here to crumble under the pressure. We had a goal to dictate the pace and dictate we did. I am so proud of all of us; it was magical.
