Ranked in the top 20 best players in the world both in 2022 and 2023, FaZe Clan's David "frozen" Čerňanský is a Rifler all Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) fans will have seen competing in the most significant events.
In the GG Chronicles player profile video (a fantastic series from BLAST and GG.BET) featuring David "frozen" Čerňanský, we learned that the Slovakian Rifler wasn't exactly a chilled child, as, according to his father, he was a bit hyperactive.

From a young age, it was clear that David "frozen" Čerňanský had a competitive spirit, always competing in sports such as football or hockey in small tournaments, even under the age of 10.
It was, however, video games that really drew frozen in as he watched his brother play, explaining that:
I was kind of always around the games, almost from the get-go, you could say. Watching my brother play the video games and wanting to be like him in a way.
In the GG Chronicles player profile, David "frozen" Čerňanský's mother explained how he was as a child:
He spent hours while his brother played, and he watched until he mastered it, becoming a master of the clock, sitting and waiting for his turn. It was always just him and his big brother. So for Christmas, he got his own computer, and that's where it all began.
A testament to David "frozen" Čerňanský's skill and impact on the server is that the legendary Danish IGL, Finn "karrigan" Andersen, picked up the Slovakian Rifler twice, first with MOUZ in 2021 (CS:GO) when he was just 18 years old, and then for FaZe Clan at the end of 2023.
