Best Swordfish gunsmith loadout for COD Mobile Season 9

Call of Duty: Mobile's Season 9 "Nightmare" has arrived and features a menu of new Halloween-themed content and gameplay feature adjustments, including the return of the "Standoff" multiplayer map, a new "Sawmill" map, a new "Dropzone" multiplayer mode, new Perks and Scorestreaks.

Additionally, Activision released a shiny new battle pass and an array of weapon balance changes and a new "Flash Drone" tactical unit. Activision has also introduced two new weapons to COD Mobile: the Swordfish assault rifle (AR) and Thumper tactical. 

The Swordfish is described as a "four shot rifle," with "long-range, low damage attenuation, with a one-round lethal ability." Despite its low damage, the Swordfish boasts an excellent firing rate and range, which could make it an alternative sniper alternative. So without further ado, here's the most broken Swordfish burst loadout at the start of COD Mobile Season 9.

While we have yet to rank the Swordfish in our assault rifle tier list, we expect it to shake up the meta significantly. The Swordfish will perhaps not rival the likes of the M13, DRH or ASM-10, and suffers against submachine guns, but could nevertheless be a fun weapon to try in the new "Nightmare" patch.

• Barrel: MIP Light
• Laser: OWC Laser - Tactical
• Underbarrel: Strike Foregrip
• Ammunition: Halberd Mag
• Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

The first attachment to equip is the MIP Light barrel to provide flexible movement speed by bolstering ADS speed at the expense of ADS bullet spread accuracy.

Next, you can't go wrong with the OWC Tactical Laser, which will improve shooting accuracy and movement speed while ADSing by buffing ADS bullet spread accuracy and ADS speed. This attachment will also attenuate the con of the previous attachment.

You can improve ADS bullet spread accuracy further with the Strike Foregrip. This attachment will also provide additional vertical recoil control to help you land your shots, albeit at the slight expense of mobility.

The Halberd Mag will provide five burst shots with 100% damage range and improve ADS bullet spread and vertical recoil by 30% and 45%, respectively. You could also equip the Extended Mag A at the slight expense of mobility and reload time.

Lastly, the Stippled Grip Tape will improve control when moving about by buffing ADS speed and sprint-to-fire speed.
