MW3 Zombies: How To Kill "Orcus" Boss

Facing bosses in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies always comes with great hardship, whether you're attempting to defeat zombies, Mega Abomination, or the Orcus, players are always going to struggle. However, there are a couple of methods players can use to make killing the Orcus in Modern Warfare Zombies easier.

Considering the size and ability of Orcus, a couple of playthroughs might be necessary before defeating it. Thousands of rounds and plenty of equipment are required to destroy this boss and learning a few strategies is helpful. 

Before fighting Orcus, ensure you have the following:

• Fully upgraded weapons 
• Plenty of armor plates 
• Access to ammo
• Spare truck on-site for potential escape 
• Grenades, self-revives, and appropriate perks

It's essential to know the following before battling Orcus:

• Orcus shoots lasers 
• Orcus can attack from underground (dives underground and follows players)
• Orcus smashes its body onto the ground to kill players 
• Weak spots are glowing purple (shoot them)

It's vital players shoot his purple spots to ensure he dies quicker, Orcus can take general damage from shooting non-purple areas, although it's better to focus on dealing maximum damage to speed up the battle. 

MW3 Zombies: How To Kill Orcus Fast

It's best if you're joined by a group of friends for this battle, simply because it means you can be revived and have others damaging Orcus simultaneously. 

Firstly you're going to want to disperse around the area and separate from friends, there are several buildings to fight from, and this is to minimize collateral damage. Once spawning, shoot Orcus as much as possible, taking advantage of the purple weak spots. 

After taking 1/4 of health, Orcus will begin aggressing with stronger attacks. Ensure you have access to cover, and stay agile. When Orcus shoots his laser at a team member, this is your time to take advantage and damage him as much as possible. This cycle repeats when Orcus focuses on you instead of the team members. 

After taking around 1/2 of health, Orcus will begin going underground, head into the surrounding buildings, and wait for him to reappear. This is often a good time to kill surrounding Zombies and pick up more ammunition. 

Repeat the cycle of hiding and aggressing when Orcus switches between fighting you and team members in different locations, this will ensure Orcus is constantly being damaged and not having moments to readjust and gain the upper hand. After approximately three to five minutes of fighting, Orcus should be dead.
