Modern Warfare 3 PC Requirements: Minimum & Recommended Specs

Modern Warfare 3 is set to launch on November 10, and players are eager to learn whether or not their PC is due an upgrade to cope with the system requirements. Alongside the explosive new campaign and multiplayer content, Modern Warfare 3 system requirements have surpassed the previous title, Modern Warfare 2, with players needing a slightly "beefier" rig than before due to graphical updates. 

Despite Activision not releasing the official system requirements for Modern Warfare 3, we can predict the minimum and recommended system requirements based on the previous Modern Warfare 2 title. Due to only being a year apart, it's easy to speculate on the minimum and recommended requirements. To be honest, those that can effectively run Modern Warfare 2 at medium settings 60FPS aren't going to need to worry. 

Modern Warfare 3: PC System Requirements 

Modern Warfare 3 is expected to have higher minimum system requirements than its prequels, due to vast graphical upgrades and updates implemented into the title. However, due to the title only being released a single year later, players that can run Modern Warfare 2 (2022) at a stable 60fps at medium settings will likely only experience minor setbacks.

Additionally, when Modern Warfare 3 is released, we can expect optimization issues within the first weeks of release. This means players will slowly experience an increase in FPS as the developers update the game, fixing low FPS issues. This is common amongst most games. Therefore, don't be alarmed by low FPS issues at launch – FPS will likely improve once developers receive more live feedback.
