Twitch Rivals 50k Warzone S3 Showdown: How to watch, schedule, format and more

With Warzone Season 3 now underway, there are two big tournaments from Twitch Rivals for Call of Duty fans to enjoy. The Twitch Rivals Warzone S3 Showdown features both NA and EMEA tournaments taking place in quick succession. Here's what you need to know about the Twitch Rivals Warzone S3 Showdown tournaments, from how to watch, to the schedule, format and more. Keep in mind everything is the same for both tournaments, with the exception of the schedule.

Twitch Rivals Warzone S3 Showdown prize pool

There's a prize pool of $50,000 USD up for grabs in the NA tournament, as well as the EMEA tournament.

You might notice the prize pool distribution is $500 USD short. That's because there's also an individual bonus for the most cumulative kills in each of the two tournaments, where the player will walk away with an extra $500 USD.

Twitch Rivals Warzone S3 Showdown: Teams & format

Just like most other Twitch Rivals tournaments, the teams have not been revealed ahead of time. However, one can expect some of the biggest Twitch content creators from the NA and EMEA regions to compete in their respective tournaments, alongside smaller streamers.

The tournament format follows the Trios kill-race structure. However, in the Twitch Rivals Warzone Showdown events this week, there's a multiplier added to the total number of kills, depending on the placement of teams.

This multiplier means we might see slower matches, as those bonus points can definitely add up. A total of five games will be played in each tournament.

Twitch Rivals Warzone S3 Showdown schedule

Both the NA and EMEA Twitch Rivals Warzone S3 Showdown tournaments will start on 27th April 2021, and the NA one should go over into 28th April 2021 if you are in the UK timezone.

The EMEA tournament is scheduled to begin at 14:00 GMT, while followed by the NA tournament at 20:00 GMT. Each tournament is expected to run for roughly five hours.
