The Brute is one of six playable Archetypes in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, and it's one of the classes new players tend to veer toward first. In order to make the most of the Brute's powers, though, beginners should read up on what they do before they pick up the game.
Here's everything you need to know about the Brute Archetype, the Archetype's special powers, and their best gameplay style.

According to the in-game description, the Brute "comes to the defense of their allies while keeping enemies at bay."
As a member of the Brujah clan, the Brute is a strong and consistent attacker.
"As many Brujahs, the Brute believes that offense is the best defense. They’re aggressive enough to start a fight with anyone and confident enough to finish it," the description of this Archetype on Sharkmob's official Bloodhunt site says.
Using their powers, Brutes can deal massive amounts of damage while still preventing their own death. In other words, they're a well-rounded Archetype, offering benefits in the way of both healing and damage to foes.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt Brute powers
Each archetype in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt is able to utilize three special skills, and the Brute is no exception. The Brute's skills focus on taking damage, avoiding damage, and healing up, allowing them to eat massive amounts of damage without going down.
The following skills belong to the Brute:
- Clan Skill: Soaring Leap - Perform a powerful jump forward.
- Passive Skill: True Grit- The Brute replenishes up to half of their health while not taking damage.
- Archetype Skill: Shockwave Punch - Unleash a shockwave capable of deflecting bullets.
Clan skills and Archetype skills need to be manually activated, so players will need to determine the best times to use these abilities. The Brute's passive skill, though, works all the time, amounting to some incredible healing abilities.
Now you know everything about the Brute Archetype in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, from their unique powers to their ideal gameplay style.
