Baldur's Gate 3: How To Get Into The House Of Hope

Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3 sees a lot of side quests and story threads culminate in massive epic story moments, one of which is the story of Raphael and his offer to you. At one stage you'll be tasked with invading Raphael's house and taking an item in his possession for yourself so that you can save somebody, and it'll lead to both one of the coolest moments in the entire game, one of the coolest pieces of music in the game and also get you some really cool items. But how do you even get INTO Raphael's house? We've got the answers.

Getting Into The House Of Hope

First off, make your way through Act 3 until you hit a location called the Devil's Fee. It's a store located in the Lower City, and you need to head upstairs here. You'll come across a sigil etched into the floor that spits a fireball if you stand in it, but if you're quick enough you can get past the sigil, lockpick the door and get into the room before you take too much damage. 

Once you're in the room, search every single searchable storage unit. Some of them are completely useless but take every item anyway. There's another room to the left as you enter, and you should loot everything in here too. This is due to the puzzle that is facing you as you first get into the room, which is a pentagram painted on the floor.

Facing the pentagram from the desk, go through your inventory and find the following items:

• Skull
• Coin of Mammon
• Diamond
• Incense
• Infernal Marble

Place the skull on the western tip of the pentagram, the Coin of Mammon on the northwestern tip of the pentagram, the Diamond on the northeastern tip of the pentagram, the incense on the southeastern tip of the pentagram, and the Infernal Marble on the center of the pentagram. This will open up a portal in the center of the pentagram which leads you directly to the House of Hope, and into the waiting arms of Raphael.
