After multiple delays, Aberration Ascended has finally been released on all platforms, along with ARK: Bob's Tall Tales 2 DLC. The latest update has brought brand new creatures — Yi Ling and Cosmo to the game. While Yi Ling is exclusive to Aberration, Cosmo is available for players owning Bob's Tall Tales.

Cosmo is a cute web-slinging companion that will use its webs and sharp instincts to help you navigate through danger and even protect you. If you see one in front of you, here is how to tame it. 

ARK Survival Ascended: Cosmo Taming Guide In Aberration

The method to tame Cosmo is quite different than other creatures and to do it, you will have to play a little game with it. Before starting the process, you need to have some Chitin that you can get by harvesting corpses with most tools and dinosaurs.

Next, you need to make sure that you have the light pet on your shoulder and its light is turned on that you can do by clapping. Now, approach the Cosmo and make sure the light of your pet falls on it. Once you see a glow of light and Cosmo doing a little dance, you need to feed it Chitin.

As soon as you do it, a mini Red Light, Green Light game will begin. When you see red light in front of you, don't move and when it turns green, run closer to Cosmo and feed it Chitin again.

Keep repeating the process until you tame Cosmo and once you do, you can name it as you like.
