One of the biggest requests from the Apex Legends community has just been granted by Respawn Entertainment. However, this request had nothing to do with gameplay. Instead, it had to do with the quality of life in Apex Legends.
In a patch that was released 19th October, players can now toggle off any incoming Friend Invites. Previously, these invites would show up while you were in the middle of a game or in the pre-game lobby. If you're a streamer or have a lot of friends, this could get extremely annoying and actually hinder your ability to see part of your screen.
However, that's now a problem of the past with the newest patch in Apex Legends. This patch comes at the perfect time too, as crossplay is now enabled so players have more friends online than ever.

The update was sent out in the afternoon on 19th October. If you check your Origin client, your Apex Legends application should require a small update. Once it's downloaded, head into the game and navigate to the Friends menu in the pre-game lobby.
We've pushed out a patch today that adds a new feature allowing you to deny all incoming friend invites as well as the ones in your queue. You can toggle it on or off in the Friends menu.

Here, you'll see an option to turn off Friend Invite notifications. If you turn this off, you won't get any notification when a friend invites you to play Apex Legends. So while this will stop those pesky flashes on the screen, you also won't know if a friend wants you to join their party.
Overall, this is a good option to have if you're a streamer or someone who has a lot of friends that play Apex Legends.
