WWE 2K24 Showcase Match List, Hidden Match Predictions

With the four decade legacy of WrestleMania front and center this year, the WWE 2K24 Showcase matches will highlight some of this longrunning event's most memorable moments. A few details are being held back, but we've already learned about more than a dozen iconic clashes players will get to experience with archival footage and exclusive interviews interspersed throughout the mode. 

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin is just one of the icons who will be doing interviews for the WWE 2K24 Showcase, and that should make it no surprise that he's in several of the matches. We've got details on all the WWE 2K24 Showcase matches confirmed so far and predictions on the few they've yet to announce.

WWE 2K24 Showcase Match List Confirmed

As WrestleMania 40 and the WWE 2K24 release date draw near, we've now learned about 16 of this year's 21 Showcase matches. From the iconic clash between Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and "Macho Man" Randy Savage that many fans view as one of the greatest matches of all time to last year's unforgettably heartbreaking defeat of Cody Rhodes by Roman Reigns, there are some absolute gems on deck.

Here are all the WWE 2K24 Showcase matches confirmed so far:

• Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant w/ Bobby “The Brain” Heenan (WrestleMania III)
• “Ravishing” Rick Rude w/ Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Ultimate Warrior (WrestleMania V)
• Bret “Hitman” Hart vs. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper (WrestleMania VII)
• Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania X)
• Bret “Hitman” Hart vs. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (WrestleMania 13)
• “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. The Rock (WrestleMania X-Seven)
• Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle (WrestleMania XX)
• The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 25)
• Seth Rollins vs Randy Orton (WrestleMania 31)
• Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair (WrestleMania 35)
• “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena in a Firefly Funhouse match (WrestleMania 36)
• “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. Kevin Owens (WrestleMania 38)
• Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair (WrestleMania 39)
• Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes (WrestleMania 39)
• Bianca Belair vs. Asuka (WrestleMania 39)

Just like we saw last year, some of the game's in-game content will be obtainable as Showcase Unlockables. However, players who want all of that content accessible at launch will get that bonus if they purchase the WWE 2K24 Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition.

Hidden WWE 2K24 Showcase Predictions

With only 16 matches revealed so far, we have at least five more to be revealed for this game mode. Some of these may be non-historic ones like last year's unique Super Cena collision and the hypothetical legends four-way match.

However, we could also see some historic WrestleMania matches revealed down the line. The biggest one could be from WrestleMania 1, as a recent trailer teased Muhammad Ali as part of the WWE 2K24 roster.

He was the Special Guest Outside Referee when Mr. T and Hulk Hogan fought Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper, and we know the Special Guest Referee Match is back this year. Piper and Hogan are already confirmed, but they may be holding back to reveal Mr. T and Paul Orndorff at a later time.

With the remaining matches, we'll likely get a mix of a few WrestleMania surprises and some hypothetical WrestleMania dream matches between icons of different eras. You can find more details here on all the WWE 2K24 game modes and new features.
