WWE 2K24: How to cash-in Money in the Bank

As difficult as it is to win a Money in the Bank briefcase, being able to cash-in successfully in WWE 2K24 Universe Mode can also be quite the challenge. Whether you're looking to create a memorable moment or just tick that trophy or achievement off your list, there are a few different ways to cash-in MITB in WWE 2K24.

Here, we'll go over exactly how to cash-in Money in the Bank in WWE 2K24. It might take a little perseverence, but in a Superstar Mode or Classic Mode save you can create that iconic moment and cash-in the briefcase to score a major championship in WWE 2K24.

How to Win Money in the Bank in WWE 2K24

Before you can ever cash-in Money in the Bank, you first need to win it. If you're in a Classic Mode save, you can easily simulate up to the next Money in the Bank event and take control of whoever you want to secure the briefcase or simulate with them winning. However, it's a bit more time consuming in Superstar Mode.

It'll take about a dozen weeks for the Money in the Bank event to arrive, and depending on your active rivalry you may not be entered into the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Fortunately, if you aren't in it (or if you lose) there's still a reliable way to get the briefcase. At the next show, simply choose to Create A Match in the Manage Superstar menu.

Setup a clash between your superstar and the Money in the Bank briefcase holder, put it on the line, and make sure you win that match. From that point forward, you own the briefcase and can try to cash-in and secure a championship.

How to Cash-In Money in the Bank in Universe Mode

You can choose to cash-in from the Manage Superstar menu, but your decision may or may not automatically work. You'll have limited control in Superstar Mode, so even choosing one of these may not get the cash-in you're hoping for to actually trigger.

If things aren't working, try starting a rivalry with the champion. Once we had a rivalry going, selecting the cash-in one more time did the trick. This setup a match between reigning champion Iyo Sky and Asuka for the title, and Money in the Bank holder Flyboy Betty Bomb cashed in after the match. Asuka became the new champion just long enough to lose it to Betty Bomb.

If you're in Classic Mode, getting these more elaborate cash-in scenarios to trigger can be difficult, and it may require building up a rivalry and altering rivalry actions manually. The easiest way in Classic Mode is to simply select "Announce Cash-In" on the show menu once someone holds the briefcase. This automatically sets up a match, and winning it will pop the cash-in trophy or achievement for you in WWE 2K24.
