PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Required to Play Warzone 2?

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is here, and it is safe to say players are enjoying the game as much as they enjoyed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Although Warzone 2.0 is free to play compared to Modern Warfare 2, many fans are confused if they require a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Gold Live subscription to play the game.

If you are one of these curious fans, we have answers to your questions.

Is PS Plus or Xbox Live Required to Play Warzone 2?

The simple answer is NO. You don’t require any subscription to play Warzone 2.0 on PlayStation or Xbox consoles. Warzone 2.0 is a free-to-play game, much the like the predecessor version of Call of Duty: Warzone.

Although you do need to have an active PlayStation Network or Xbox Live account to download the game from respective stores if you have any of the consoles and you have been playing games on these consoles, it is expected that you already have an active PlayStation Network or Xbox Live account. Therefore all you need to do is download Warzone 2.0 from the respective store, and you are good to go.
