New Infinite Gas Mask Glitch Returns To Warzone 2

Although Warzone 2 makes many improvements over the previous Warzone, it is without flaws as many players a quick to point out. And one bug is now reported to have followed us from Warzone into Warzone 2; the annoying Gas Mask Glitch.

So in this guide, were going to take a look at how the Gas Mask Glitch was discovered in Warzone 2's Al Mazrah, as well as what we can expect from the future of Warzone 2 in terms of getting a patch to remove the glitch and what the fanbase has to say about it. 

Warzone 2 - Gas Mask Glitch Returns to Al Mazrah

The mask glitch was first discovered in Warzone, and while we thought we were safe from it as we entered Warzone 2, it seems we spoke too soon. As shown by a recent Redditor who added an ironic tagline "I love the gas mask animation!!" the gas mask glitch has indeed resurfaced in Warzone 2. 

The clip above shows them attempting to cut and redeploy their parachute as they flee the storm, but the animation that shows the player removing their gas mask interferes, and they crash to the ground instead and die. It's considered more than annoying at this point, especially after we had to deal with it in the first game for so long, and fans are upset, to say the least.

Warzone 2 - Fans Respond to Gas Mask Glitch

Some fans on Reddit said "Gotta love how after 3 years of complaints about this animation they've done exactly nothing about it in Warzone 2," and another post reads "This garbage automatic animation should be removed. I want to equip my gas mask manually, I have died so many times because of this bulls**t.

As the comment above mentions, fans have been making it clear to the developers for over 3 years now that this glitch is ruining gameplay in specific instances. And it seems like a fix that wouldn't be too hard to implement, so the silence from Activision on this front has only built up more and more frustration. 

But for now, all we can do is hope that Activision and Infinity Ward can rectify this issue soon enough, though we wouldn't hold our breath, as there are a plethora of other issues that need to be addressed. So for now, all we can do is wait and hope that it's on the developer's urgent list of fixes.
