Interrogation is a brand new feature in Call of Duty Warzone 2's DMZ mode that will give players a new strategic and tactical advantage in battle. This new feature was just recently announced, and if you're keen to know more about it, then we have you covered.
Below we'll show you exactly how to interrogate enemies in Warzone 2 and discuss how the new interrogation feature works, and how it gives you an edge in battle.
Warzone 2 DMZ Interrogation: How To Interrogate Enemies
As announced in the recently released Call of Duty Warzone 2 official blog post, the new Interrogation mechanic gives players the ability to approach a downed enemy and interrogate them for information on their allies' locations. "By interacting with a downed enemy player, you will learn the locations of all their allies, via red dot pings on the minimap, as well as outlines in the environment (like a Snapshot Grenade), for a short period."
To do this, you simply need to approach a downed enemy and an "interrogate" option will appear on your screen. After you click it, an animation will play that shows your character taking a knife and holding it to the enemy's throat. The opponent will then be questioned about the whereabouts of their teammates, and once they cough up the info, players will be able to see the highlighted location of the enemies on the mini-map.
You will also be able to see the locations of any equipment they may have placed around the map, though this effect is also lost when the interrogatee dies or is revived. This tactic should be used only if the opposing squad is nowhere to be found after one of their allies is killed, as the person being interrogated can also request assistance, which places the interrogator on the map, so this tactic does have its risks.
The addition of the new interrogation mechanic in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 provides players with a completely new way to gain a tactical advantage in the online shooter, which could help differentiate the title even more from other battle royale games. Weighing the risk of interrogating a foe versus risking the wrath of their teammates adds a new layer of tension to gameplay and gives tactical decision-making more depth.
