The highly anticipated Call of Duty battle royale title, Warzone 2, is set to release on 16th November 2022 with a handful of new content, including new Functional Weapons, DMZ gameplay mode, and some new Operators to unlock.
Alongside all the new content, Activision will incorporate a new backpack and looting system. It was initially unveiled when content creators and streamers got a chance to play Warzone 2 ahead of its official release. With that said, this article explains everything you need to know about the new backpack and looting system in Warzone 2.
How Will the New Backpack & Looting System Work in Warzone 2?
Warzone 2.0 will implement a new Backpack system, fully integrated for DMZ and streamlined for Battle Royale modes.
Similar to previous gen Warzone, supply boxes scattered throughout Al Mazrah will still distribute random items for you to pick up in battle royale mode. When a player interacts with any other loot container, such as a duffel bag, or medical case, they will function with a loot menu.
When you die, the game will drop your Primary Weapon on the ground and your Backpack on the ground, which contains the rest of their content, and is accessed through a loot menu.
