Pokémon Legends: Arceus is all set to release on 28th January on Nintendo Switch, developed to give an open-world experience different from all the Pokémon games released in the past. The game is available to pre-load, and players who pre-order the game will receive Hisuian Growlithe Kimono via the Mystery Gifts feature.
With the open-world concept that it brings to the game, many players are wondering whether Pokémon Legends: Arceus will feature multiplayer. Well, here's the answer to your question.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus multiplayer
As per the gameplay that Pokémon Legends: Arceus is intended to offer, developers may implement multiplayer but in a limited way. As per various leaks available, it is unlikely that you will be able to battle with or against other players.
However, as per the official story details, you will be able to trade your Pokémon with other players at the trading posts in Jubilife Village.
“Along with the headquarters of the Galaxy Team and your own lodgings, Jubilife Village boasts a range of useful institutions and services - such as the trading post, where you can trade Pokémon with other players,” the official statement read.
However, the catch is that this feature will not be available for every player and in order to be able to trade Pokémon, you will need to have a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership that costs 3.99 USD for one month, 7.99 USD for three months and 19.99 USD for twelve months.
