The main game mode in TMNT Shredder's Revenge is 'Story Mode' which takes players on the classic turtle's adventure. Story Mode features 16 different stages, and multiple endings for players to enjoy.

Each stage should take around 5-10 minutes on normal difficulty, resulting in about 1.5-2 hours to beat TMNT Shredder's Revenge on normal difficulty. Difficulty can also be scaled for players who want more of a challenge. Obviously, the higher the difficulty, the longer it will take to complete each stage.

Arcade Mode is a slight alternative to the normal Story Mode. In Arcade Mode, players won't need to find collectibles or level up their characters. All characters are fully powered up from the start of the game and players have a limited amount of lives, which makes Arcade Mode more challenging.

Arcade Mode runs are timed and must be completed in one sitting. There is also a leaderboard for players to view the fastest times to finish the game.
